Georgia Chattahoochee Chapter of APMP's Open Social Media Board Position

Are you great using social media? Do you know Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram like the back of your hand? Do you have top-notch communication and writing skills? If so, we would love to speak with you about our open position for Social Media Board Officer. If you are a current member of the Georgia Chattahoochee Chapter and can fulfill the following duties, please contact Frank Candido, our Georgia Chattahoochee Chapter Chair by February 15.
- Maintain the Georgia Chapter social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Create and implement a social media strategy in accordance with the Board goals
- Engage new chapter members on social media
- Post content related to our annual Southern Proposal Accents Conference (SPAC), as well as APMP events

Frank Candido, CF APMP, began his career in account management in wood products industry in 1982, transferred into customer facing/support roles with lottery vendor in 1993. Currently, he is Vice President, Global Proposals for Scientific Games. In his current role, he leads a team of 17 proposal professionals in the pursuit of complex lottery opportunities worldwide.
Mr. Candido has BA in Political Science/Economics from Algoma University, BSc. in Business Management and MBA from Lake Superior State University. Frank joined APMP in 2008; Presented at National APMP Conference Boston 2016/Published in APMP Journal 2016.
Lives in Forsyth County, passion for music performance (bassist in cover bands), travel, golf, and hiking.

Michelle Norman provides turnkey proposal management services for federal, state, local, and commercial arenas. She offers experience in managing large, strategic proposals in the full range of Fortune 500 to small-business and 8(a) companies, and her skills are as diverse as her client base.
Michelle has proposal management, writing, and editing experience for the federal and state governments, such as, the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, NASA, USSOCOM, U.S. Navy Seaport, U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Medicare & Medicaid Services, Department Logistics Agency, Department of Energy, the Kennedy Center, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Mississippi and Kentucky Medicaid Divisions, and the states of Pennsylvania and Texas.
Michelle began consulting after 23 years with BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc. (presently AT&T), where she was a Contracting and Vendor Relationship Manager. Michelle ventured into the proposal management world, where she gained her experience in the Telecommunications, Protective Services, Healthcare, and Information Technology industries. She has worked with Commdex, AWDMS, Whitestone, Deloitte, LLC, Shipley Associates, Propel Consulting, Inc., ACS State Healthcare, WSI Services, Inc., VT Griffin, DRS, Scientific Games, BellSouth, CA, Genesys Labs, Scientific Atlanta, and Kaiser - as consultant, contractor, and employee.

Lauri Ross Erenstoft started her career in the proposal profession in 1996 with a global, top-four consulting and accounting firm. In 1998, this same firm asked Lauri to aid in the start-up of a centralized, Atlanta-based proposal practice serving the southeast and national business development needs, as requested. Lauri's involvement in the creation and development of proposals spans various industries, including but not limited to Consumer Markets, Entertainment, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Government (State and Local) wearing many hats such as: proposal writer, proposal manager and coordinator, production specialist, and the creator of document management libraries for best practices for many of the firms she has served.
Lauri lives northeast of Atlanta with her loving family.

Kathleen Swacina has more than five years experience in writing commercial and defense agencies proposals. Recently Kathy started a small business offering technical writing for proposals, IT strategic planning, quality assurance manager and capture management services.
Kathy is an IT Director with over 17 years of IT architecture, IT portfolio management, IT program management, IT policy development, COOP design, and CIO proficiencies experience. She has most recently been assisting in several CMMI and ISO certification efforts along with Quality Assurance (QA) responsibilities.
Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Fine Art from Western Michigan University, a Master of Arts in Computer Science from Webster University, and a Master of Strategic Studies from University of Texas. She also holds several certifications including; DOD/GSA CIO, ITIL, Project Management, Advanced Joint Military Professional, Proposal and Capture Management. Kathy lives in Atlanta with her husband.

Alan has enjoyed a distinguished career leading the planning, staffing, budgeting, and operations of international organizations. He specializes in team building and leadership, communications, organization development and process/performance improvement. He has demonstrated skills in people and project management with the ability to initiate and execute cross-functional programs. Currently, Alan serves as a senior proposal manager with Envistacom, LLC where he manages the development of IDIQ and task order proposals in cyber-security, counter terrorism and satellite communications. He considers his work super rewarding because it supports our Warfighters in the U.S. armed forces.
Alan joined APMP in 2002 and has actively participated in the Georgia Chattahoochee chapter since 2012. He and his wife are "empty nesters" living in Sandy Springs, Georgia. He has an enviable metro-Atlanta commute of a half mile from their home to his office.

Sandy Luttrell, currently a proposal manager with Fidelity Information Services (FIS) in Norcross, GA. She had been previously retired from Hewlett-Packard in 2012 after 16 years as a member of the HP North America Proposal Center (SPC). She has over 31 years of proposal management experience in the commercial and public sectors arenas. Sandy was also a presenter at the 2006 National APMP conference in Savannah, GA and does occasional presentations at the Georgia Chapter's dinner meetings. Sandy just finished serving her 6th term as Membership chair for the GA Chattahoochee APMP chapter before transitioning to the Publicity/Promotions Chair position.
Sandy has been a member of APMP for over 13 years. She enjoys cooking, drawing, painting, traveling, entertaining and working proposals.

Keith Propst joined CA, Inc. as a principal proposal manager in early 2006 to help rebuild the proposal program for a $4 billion software company. Previously, Keith spent 3 years as a successful independent proposal consultant and 16 years managing the HP North America proposal organization.
Keith joined APMP in 1997 and has been a Georgia Chattahoochee chapter officer since 2000. He served as chapter chair for 2004 and 2005 and was named APMP Chapter Chair of the Year at the 2006 APMP Annual Conference in New Orleans. He has also been involved with the SPAC in leadership roles for the last decade. Keith has presented at three APMP Annual Conferences and multiple SPACs and chapter meetings.
Keith lives in Cherokee County and is happily married to a former sales rep, who, fortunately, understands the demands of the proposal profession. His other passions are golf and Georgia Tech sports.

Joni Charron is a Proposal Manager with Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc. After many years working as a sales admin, Joni landed in the Commercial Proposal arena in 2001 and has never looked back. She has served as the GA Chattahoochee APMP Chapter Job Chair for the past two years and has co-chaired a past SPAC event. What little time is left when not heads down into proposal work is spent playing tennis, travelling, and enjoying time with her family and two crazy boxer dogs.

David Belton has been working with and around websites since the late 1990s. He currently works for RTI International full time as a web designer/developer, and manages independent websites part time. David enjoys working as a webmaster and with ColdFusion development technology in particular. He also has a strong interest in website usability and simple design. He tries to take an informal, low key approach to design, usability, and maintenance. David has a positive attitude, loves to educate the less-informed about websites, and enjoys making things that work for people.
