About 6 months (From 3/2017)
How did you become involved with proposals?
My company branched into government sales which I have experience in from a previous employer so I joined that team and writing proposals became part of my job responsibility.

What do you like best about working in your current environment?
It is laid back, flexible and great life/work balance.
What do you like least about working in your current environment?
The structure of our team. Our roles are not truly defined therefore some of us end up doing more work than others.
What do you feel is the most challenging aspect of your job?
Presenting new ideas to the stakeholders and receiving their approval.
What shortcuts or helpful best practices about working with proposal teams could you share?
Last minute proposal writing should be avoided at all cost because the error rate increases so much more and the stress on the team is certainly not worth it.
Why/when did you join APMP?
To obtain tips and best practice procedure. Also for networking.
What is your method for successfully working with your proposal teams?
Dividing the proposal into sections and assign them to the team.
Which type of proposals do you do most? Commercial, government or other?
Mainly government for now.
