We are one of the oldest and most active APMP chapters
Chartered in 1994, the Georgia Chattahoochee APMP Chapter has earned a reputation as an innovative, active local organization. Our 170+ members come from Atlanta and other parts of Georgia and neighboring states. Each year, during Q1, the Georgia Chattahoochee APMP Chapter co-hosts the Southern Proposal Accents Conference (SPAC) with the Carolina APMP chapter and the Florida Sunshine Chapter. In 2019, the Georgia Chattahoochee APMP Chapter plans to hold virtual presentations during Q2 and Q3, and will hold a member appreciation dinner meeting in Q4.
We actively contribute to the overall mission of APMP
At APMP we welcome novice and seasoned proposal professionals to learn about the latest trends and issues in the world of proposal development and stay up-to-date on the latest innovations in proposal management. Members of our chapter have filled several different leadership positions on the APMP Board of Directors. A number of Georgia Chattahoochee members have made presentations at APMP Annual Conferences. Other members have been published in the APMP Journal. Our chapter has been recognized with multiple APMP Innovation Awards and Chapter of the Year Awards. Several of our chapter chairs have received the APMP Leadership Award for their service to the local chapter and to APMP.
Our meetings include educational programs and opportunities to network with peers in the proposal profession
Chapter meetings are normally scheduled for the second or third Wednesday in the months of January, March, May, July, and September. All meetings take place at the Crowne Plaza (Powers Ferry) in Atlanta, GA.
