I was hired as a Proposal Writer directly out of college and just stuck with it.
Do you work in a "corporate office" or "home office" environment?
I work in a corporate office environment, but the atmosphere feels like home.

The people. Everyone is part of the team and does what it takes to win the business.

What do you feel is the most challenging aspect of your job?
Juggling 10 RFPs at a time. It doesn’t happen very often, but it’s pretty stressful when it does.
What shortcuts or helpful best practices about working with proposal teams could you share?
Following the same process every time and breaking an RFP down into small pieces makes something giant so much more manageable.
Why/when did you join APMP?
I felt we (LeasePlan) needed to see some different viewpoints on RFPs and thought this would be a great resource.
What is your method for successfully working with your proposal teams?
I like an environment where anyone can bring anything to the table. This brings out the best ideas in everyone.
Which type of proposals do you do most? Commercial, government or other?
I complete proposals to commercial businesses that require fleet management services.
